Description: EMERGENCY OPERATIONS: The work will consist of construction and repair of levees within the limits of the New Orleans District. Approximately forty (40) firm-fixed-priced contracts will be awarded for the repairs of the levees due to Hurricane Katrin a. Contracts will be awarded to some unrestricted, 8(a) Set-Asides, Hub-Zone, and other socioeconomic concerns. The RFP's advertising time will be three (3) days under unusual and compelling urgency. The awards will be made within two (2) days after the c losing date. Approximate award amount is between $500,000.00 and $40,000,000.00.
