Description
NAICS Code: 541620 The purpose of this announcement is to clarify the previously posted requirement. The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Climate Protection Partnerships Division (CPPD) in Washington, DC intends to award a Purchase Order to Energy and Environmental Building Association (EEBA) of Bloomington, MD under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The purpose of this procurement is to provide conference sponsorship support for the 2005 Excellence in Building Conference and Expo to be held October 26 - 28, 2005 in Colorado Springs, CO. This conference will provide a forum for the exchange of information regarding environmental issues associated with building energy efficient homes and making energy performance improvements to existing homes as well as educate members of the building industry on practices and technologies used to improve the energy performance of residential structures in the U.S. Under this Purchase Order, EPA will be provided with (1) five conference registrations; (2) ENERGY STAR Builder partner recognition during the EEBA conference awards ceremony; (3) ENERGY STAR logo placement in EEBA conference promotional materials; (4) half page advertisement in the official EEBA conference program; (5) a copy of all journal articles or journal issues that includes original papers presented at the EEBA conference; and (6) ENERGY STAR logo on EEBA web site along with link to ENERGY STAR website; (7) eight VIP passes to the builders expo. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541620. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE (RFQ) IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm that believes it is capable of meeting EPA's requirement as stated herein may submit their corporate capabilities, which if received by the response date of this announcement may be considered. Responses to posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed requirement based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
