- Description
- The Seattle District US Army Corps of Engineers requires the mechanical dredging of up to approximately 300,000 cubic yards of material (sand and silt) from the upstream settling basin and limited shoals in the navigation channel of the Snohomish Riv er in Washington State. All dredged sediment will be disposed at Washingtons Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Port Gardner open water disposal site with bottom-dump barges. Anticipation of work completion is to be by the date of critical habitat designation for salmon the expectation of which is no earlier than 30 December 2005. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 237990 with a size standard of $17 million. Project is open to both large and small business. If y ou are a large business and your proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this procur ement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $17 million.
