Description

Requirements are 80 each, Cylinder Assembly, NSN 3040-01-039-4744, PN 12008010 for use on the M198 Howitzer - Actuator assembly is a hydraulic cylinder with the overall length of 21 inches X five inches in diameter. Parts include two end assy, cylin der, piston assy and two rod ends. Final hydraulic pressure must be 4000PSI at ports and have an opposing pressure of 40,000 PSI at ports. Honing of cylinder walls is reaquired. FOB is Destination. Estimated issue date is 21 Oct 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is ther efore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid openin g/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same. A 100% option provision will be included. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-aside.
