Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities(FBO) page located at http://www.eps.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line(NECO) site located at http://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopsis and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by the Navy Sea Systems Command. NUWC Division Newport intends to purchase on a SOLE SOURCE basis, eight (8) Barco View Modular Ruggedized Display Stations, with accompanying AUXBOX, and Integrated Logistics Support/Configuration Management documentation. Barco View is the sole manufactures of these items that must be 100 percent compatible with previously procured Barco View Display Stations and the existing legacy units to allow for faster, cheaper, and easier removal/replacement of existing legacy units. This will be a sole source contract with Barco View LLC of Duluth, GA. Anticipated award date is 27 Oct. 2005. This announcement constitutes the only publication of this requirement. A formal solicitation will not be posted regarding this procurement.
