Description

The Department of Interior (DOI), National Business Center, GovWorks, intends to solicit full and open competition in accordance with FAR 6.102-(b). This competitive action is being issued by GovWorks under the authority of the U. S. Department of Interior Franchise Fund on behalf of the U.S. Department of the Navy, Undersea Warfare Center Division and in accordance with FAR 15. This requirement consists of procurement of the MK30 Mod 2 Rotor Stator Guard Assembly, (10 Units), of which one will be provided as a 1st article sample. The unit shall be designed in accordance with the requirements in the Mk 30 Mod 2 Target TDP 09503 (7353321 Rev A). The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this requirement is 31-33 "Manufacturing" (size standard 500 employees). Companies wishing to propose for this effort must be registered in the Joint Certification Program (JCP), through Defense Logistics Information Services (DLIS). You may register at the following website: http://www.dlis.dla.mil/JCP/. Once you are registered and have a Certification number you can request the Technical package, including drawings and specifications for this requirement. The contract will be for a twelve month period. Offerors able to provide the required services are invited to identify their interest and Certification number. HOW TO RESPOND: In order to compete for this contract, interested parties MUST provide a Certification number from DLIS BY 18 OCT 2005. Your Certification number will be verified and you will be provided additional proposal instructions and contract requirements. No further notice will be posted in Fed Biz Opps.
