Description
The Government has a requirement for engineering services in the area of military equipment and weapons. This effort will be solicited as a Sole Source under the Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) program to Applied Resources, In c. located in Arlington, Virginia. An Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity contract with Time and Material task orders will be issued. The contract will cover the period 22 November 2005 through 21 November 2010. The contract will not exceed three m illion dollars. Applied Resources Inc. (ARI) is the only SDVOSB that can perform this requirement. ARI has been working on this requirement for the past year. Their personnel have provided the ground work for the development and start up of the Test Resource Management Center (TRMC). This requirement is a continuation of that effort. ARI personnel have developed and demonstrated detailed knowledge of the TRMC strategic planning methods and procedures, T&E resource budget certification process, Central Test and Evaluat ion Investment Program (CTEIP) and the Test & Evaluation/Science and Technology (TEST) programs that would be impossible to acquire from any other source within any reasonable amount of time. Knowledgeable and timely support for these functions and progra ms are vital to the accomplishment of the TRMC mission. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for proposals. However, all proposals received will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government no t to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The official release of the Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on or about 27 October 2005 on the Internet at the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) website located at the following address: https//:acquisition.army.mil. The on-line version of the RFP includes all documents of the solicitation package. No hard copy of this RFP will be issued. Amendments, if any, will be posted at the same location as the solicitation. The proposal will be submitted electronically.. It is the responsibility of thos e responding to the solicitation to obtain all amendments and/or other applicable documents..
