Description
The National Archive and Records Administration intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Operations and Maintenance, commercial services to provide all management, tools, supplies, equipment and labor necessary to operate, maintain, inspect, test, repair, adjust, install and replace all building systems at the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum Facility. The contract awarded as a result of this RFP will be a Firm-Fixed Price contract with Department of Labor wage determinations incorporated. The term of the contract will be a Base Period of 12 months plus four (4) 12?month options. The requirement is a 100% small business set-aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561210 and the Small Business Size Standard is 30.0 Million. Interest firms will be required to respond to evaluation factors, which include both price and technical factors, where technical factors are more important than price. The primary technical factors are: Technical Understanding, Approach, and Capabilities, Relevant Past Performance, and Personnel. One Contractor will be selected for award on the basis of its proposal being the most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. All responsible small business sources may submit a proposal that will be considered by NARA. Copies of the RFP, which will be available on or about 17 October, 2005 may be obtained through the Federal Business Opportunities web site www.fbo.gov. It is the offeror?s responsibility to monitor this site for the release of the solicitation and amendments, if any. No telephone or fax RFP request will be accepted.
