Description

Equipment Maintenance & Onsite Customer Support Engineer: SSA intends to negotiate with and award a contract to Pitney Bowes Inc.; 21 Governor?s Ct; Baltimore, MD 21244 for the following requirement. Contractor to provide ongoing Maintenance and Repair Services for four Pitney Bowes Mail Inserters, which operate around the clock. Equipment covered by this order includes two (2) Pitney Bowes Model R400 Mail Finishing Systems including peripheral equipment, one Model FL7G Finishing System/Inserter. The contractor shall provide coverage 24 hours per day Monday thru Friday to service the Pitney Bowes equipment located in the NCC in Baltimore, MD. Contractor to provide Onsite Customer Support Engineers for the maintenance period described above (24 hrs per day M-F) as well as on-call services outside the PPM. Contractor to provide only certified Pitney Bowes technicians to cover the equipment during the service period. Contractor shall perform regular PM checks on the equipment in accordance with PB operating guidelines. SSA believes Pitney Bowes is the only qualified provider for these services. If you believe your firm can meet the requirements, you must provide a complete technical proposal describing your firms capabilities, experience and certifications to the Contracting Officer no later than October 17, 2005.
