Description
This solicitation is for the acquisition of items primarily manufactaured by Flexfab Division of Flexfab Horizons International, cage code 16632. This acquisition includes the purchase of part numbered items as well as competitive items (government drawing) where Flexfab is an approved source, and/or has supplied the item in the past. Offerors should be aware that there is a potential for split awards. Solicitation, NSNs and item descriptions will be available for download on the internet at http://dibbs.dscc.dla.mil on its issue date. Hard copies of this solicitation/attachments are not available. For questions on the content of the solicitation contact the primary point of contact. All responsiable sources may submit an offer which shall be considered. See Note(s): 9, 12, 26 The solicitation will be available in FedBizOpps on its issue date of November 2, 2005. Drawings/specifications will be available through the DIBBS solicitation link in the synopsis on the solicitation issue date. Specifications, plans or drawings are not available for various NSNs. The proposed procurement contains an option to extend the contract period one or more times at the discretion of the government. The total duration (base plus option years) shall not exceed 5 years. This proposed procurement includes a family group of items within the Federal Supply Class 1420, 1560, 2530, 3110, 4130, 4520, 4710, 4720, 4730, 5310, 5315, 5330, 5331, 5340, 5820. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon a combination of price, delivery, past performance and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: None.
