ISSUE DATE: October 20, 2006 POSTED DATE: October 20, 2006 TITLE: Notice of Intent to Procure Sole Source SOL: RFQ10N3-021-06 DUE: 11/02/05 NAICS: 811219 POP STATE: Not specified AGENCY: Attn: Department of Veterans Affairs NY Harbor Medical Center POC: Greg Vogt DESCRIPTION: This is a notice of intent of the NY Healthcare System Brooklyn VA Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY to negotiate sole source with RTS Accelerator Tech Inc., located at PO Box 7080, Ocean Springs, MI 39566. RTS shall provide service and maintenance for the Mitsubishi Linear Accelerator in accordance with all contract terms and conditions. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302 (6.302-2,(ii) (A)) And FAR Part 15. The authority cited and justification made is based on the determination that the Government's minimum needs can best be satisfied by the equipment available from one source. One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. NAICS code is 811219, size standard is $6.0 million. Solicitation packages are not available and telephone requests will not be honored. This notice is for information only and may represent the only official notice of such solicitation. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition is based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
