Description: The Thomas E. Creek Amarillo VA Medical Center requires the services of a General Surgeon for the following:On-Call services 24 hours per day, seven days per week, one week per month. Outpaitent Clinics with an estimated 10-12 paitent load per four hour clinic. Surgical procedures preformed. This contract will begin or or around 1-1-06 with an expiration date of 12-31-06. The length of the contract may be much shorter as a recruitment of a full time staff member is underway. The Government will give a 30 day written notice of the end of the contract if a staff member can be recruited. Bid packages will be available on or around 11-25-05. All requests must be in writing.
