Description
The US Army Communications-Electronics Life Cycle Management Command plans on acquiring up to 100 each Data Transfer Receptacle, NSN 5895-01-338-7064, Part Number 622-9309-001 and up to 260 each Data Transfer Cartridge, NSN 5895-01-339-5215, Part Num ber 622-9857-001. In addition, the requirement will include Overhaul and Repair (O&R) services for up to 300 each NSN 5895-01-339-5215, Data Transfer Cartridge and up to 300 each NSN 7025-01-338-7064, Data Transfer Receptacle. The AMPS is a mission plann ing/battle synchronization tool that will automate and simplify aviation mission planning tasks. The AMPS consists of a DTC, DTR, and lightweight computer. The function of the AMPS includes tactical command and control, mission planning, mission managemen t and maintenance management. The AMPS employs both data-bus and non-data-bus programmable cartridges, depending on the aircraft platform utilizing the system. This requirement shall be satisfied on a sole source basis with Rockwell Collins, Cedar Rapids, Iowa. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposa ls are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is being issued as a Request for Proposal in accordance with Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. The type of contract shall be a 5-year Indefinite Delivery, Indefinit e Quantity (IDIQ) type vehicle with requirements placed by individual delivery orders. Shipments shall be FOB Destination to New Cumberland Army Depot, Pennsylvania. The requirements of FAR 52.212-1, 52.212-2, 52.212-3, 52.212-4 and 52.212-5 shall be inc orporated in the solicitation. Proposals, along with completed provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications, Commercial Item, shall be electronically forwarded not later than close of business 7 November 2005 to: Thomas S.
