- The Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA) Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear (CBRN) Directorate requires technical support services for their effort in providing hazard prediction modeling and simulation training support, operations support, and simulation systems in planning, in support of the protection of the Pentagon and associated facilities against chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear attacks and/or disaster. It is critical that the contractor possesses the technology to conduct the CBRN modeling, simulation and training requirements, especially to have completed training in the following areas: CBRN Sensor Systems: o Operations o Awareness, especially interpreting output and being able to advise on action Defense Threat Reduction Agency training for CBRN Modeling Systems Factory trained for the Centurion Detection System technicians: o Operations o Repair o Awareness, especially interpreting output and being able to advise on action. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with Camber Corporation, 3855 Centerview Drive, Suite 400, Chantilly, VA 20151, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies and services will satisfy agency requirements?. Given the complexity of the requirement and emerging technologies, the Government has determined that Camber Corporation is the only responsible source with the training, experience and technology to satisfy the requirements. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to the requirement. However, this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No funds are available to pay for preparation of responses to this notification. The Government will use the information received to determine whether other sources are available and capable to satisfy future requirements, as it is the Government?s intent to compete any follow-on actions at the end of the period of performance (POP) for the proposed contract action. It is anticipated the POP will be for one base year plus one option year.
