Description

Pre Cruise Pierside availability on the Training Ship Golden Bear in Vallejo, Ca. Perform ship repair, upgrade, and maintenance per CLIN's for the ship upkeep, annual hull, loadline, and machinery surveys, and USCG COI renewal. A formal Shipcheck is scheduled for December 12th, 2005 in Vallejo, between 9AM and NOON. All bidders are to contact COTR Sujit Mukherjee at Sujit.Mukherjee@dot.gov by 7 December with notice of intent to shipcheck. Anticipated start date of the work onboard is 09 Jan 2006 and the anticipated completion date is 25 March 2006. A one-day sea trial is tentatively scheduled for 26 March 2005. Some CLINS may require attendance at the sea trials. Internal milestones cited in CLIN's shall be strictly adhered to. MARAD MAY ELECT NOT TO AWARD ALL CLINs. AWARD IS PENDING AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS..
