Description
The U.S. Army Medical Research Acquisition Activity (USAMRAA) intends to acquire translation services of foreign language medical transcriptions for the TRICARE Area Office Europe, Unit 10310, Sembach AB, 67681 Heuberg, Germany. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, internet access, and other items and services necessary to perform certified translation, into the English language, of foreign language medical transcriptions from host-nation health provide rs to U.S. Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs) and geographically isolated units (to include U.S. Embassies) within Germany, France, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Czech and Romania. The contract period of performance will be from date of award (anticipated commencement is 1st January 2006  31 December 2006) with 4 one year options. The Government will award a contract to a responsible offeror whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, will be most advantageous and represents the best value to the Government through technical capability, price and other factors considered. The Request for Proposal (RFP) solicitation issuance is planned for 15 November 2005 and will be obtainable through Federal Business Opportunities and ASFI. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. All proposal s must be in ENGLISH and U.S. Dollars or they will be rejected. The Government will utilize tradeoff techniques in its best value evaluation for award.
