Description

The United States Navy intends to obtain preventive maintenance, service calls, and minor repairs for automatic door systems at the Naval Submarine Base New London, Groton, Connecticut, by means of a combination Firm Fixed Price and Indefinite-Delivery-Indefinite Quantity type contract. The work includes the provision of all the necessary labor, management, supervision, tools, materials, and equipment necessary to accomplish Automatic Door Maintenance and Repair. The NAICS Code is 238990. Size Standard is $12 Million. The period of performance will be for 12 months with options to renew for four (4) additional 12-month periods. This contract will be placed on the DOD EMALL. The solicitation will be issued as a 100% Small Business Set-aside. The solicitation will be available in electronic format only. All documents will be in Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) file format via the Internet. Prospective bidders must register for this project on the NAVFAC Electronic Solicitation Internet web site, www.esol.navfac.navy.mil to receive notification of availability of solicitation documents. Failure to register relieves the Government of responsibility of your being notified of any amendments to the solicitation. In additional all contractors are required to register in the Department of Defense (DOD) Central Contractor Registration (CCR) datebase. Failure to register in the CCR makes a bidder ineligible for award of DOD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing the website at http://www.ccr.gov. Bidders should submit verification of their firm?s registration in the CCR database with their bid.
