Description
This is amendment P0002 to solicitation N00604-06-T-0038. The following are questions from prospective venors. Closing date remains the same. Question 1: Can you please specify the min number of strands required for the 600V cable?Is there a temperature rise limit on the insulation ? Answer: EPR/Hypalon, 750 MCM, 600 volt, 90 degree C, 61 Strands, EP Thickness mils = .080, Hypalon Thickness mils = 0.65, Overall diameter = 1.32" Question 2: Are there other more common insulation system such as Cross Link polyester or RW90 acceptable? Answer: No substitution on the insulation. The items mentioned are not acceptable. Requirement is for EPR/Hypalon type of insulation.
