Description

The USPTO plans to modify task order number DOC43PAPT0506042 with Oracle Corporation, 1910 Oracle Way, Reston, VA 21090 under Oracle?s GSA Schedule Contract number GS-35F-0108J. This task order modification will be issued for consulting services on a labor-hour basis for an estimated 3,120 labor hours. The USPTO currently uses Oracle software products to support approximately 70 production databases and an equal number of test and development databases serving examiners, classifiers, and public users to manage, retrieve and search patent and trademark information and related class/subclass data. Oracle, as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM), is uniquely qualified to assist the USPTO in positioning its databases for the newest version of Oracle software thereby enabling the USPTO to take full advantage of the latest technology.
