Description

This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to PETREX Inc., 10640 Min St Ste., Fairfax VA 22030-3930 for the following: Furnish material, parts and labor to perform the repair of JP-8 Operating Tank-Pan Seal on Fac. 5301 and 5303. At both tank facilities repair wiper rings on internal floating roof system. This manufacturers equipment is the only known item that will fulfill the governments need. This acquisition will be accomplished using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for Other Than Full and Open Competition. This notice is not a request for offers. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government.
