Description

The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, tools, test equipment, and materials to rehabilitate and recondition the Sensor Rate Gyro. The Input/Output NSN: 6615-01-236-9807, Input/Output P/N: 406-074-001-101. The proposed cont ractual action will be a five-year, firm-fixed price Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract, with a minimum quantity of 35 each, maximum quantity 306 each. The 20% Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement has been included in the tot al quantity. The Input will be 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). Output shall be 60 days after receipt of assets at a rate of 5 - 11 per month. The maintenance and overhaul shall be in accordance with the manufacturer's blueprints/production drawing s and specifications. Authority cited is 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will satisfy agency requirements. The approved source(s) are Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc. (cage 97499) and BAE Syste ms (cage 63395). All responsible sources may submit an offer that may be considered by the agency. There will be no telephone or email requests for proposals accepted. Request will be by data fax to (256) 313-8194 or mailed only to US Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LA-M, Janet Guyette, Contract Specialist. This requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of the solicitation; however the solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. See Note 22.
