Description

The Department of State's National Foreign Affairs Training Center, Foreign Service Institute (FSI) provides training and professional development to personnel of the Department of State and the Foreign Service community. The mission of the Area Studies Division of the School of Professional and Area Studies (SPAS) at the Foreign Service Institute (FSI) is to provide members of the foreign affairs community with the essential knowledge of the country or region in which they work in order that they may advance the foreign policy objectives of the United States of America. Currently, the Foreign Service Institute is seeking bidders for professional services required by the Department of State and the Foreign Service Institute to deliver the Iraq: Country Orientation Course; review the design of the course when necessary; and to deliver guest lectures. PLEASE NOTE**** The purpose of this effort is to establish multiple award BPA contracts with a potential contract period through the specified contract period. Offerors are encouraged to submit proposals addressing the criteria listed in this solicitation. Proposals will be evaluated in accordance with the evaluation factors illustrated in section M, and subsequent "on-going" awards will be made as necessary, based on the requirements.
