Description: The 38 EIG/PK intends to procure on a sole source basis local telephone service for 185 AFW Air National Guard Station in Sioux City, IA. The intended contractor, Frontier Communications of Iowa, shall provide the following services: (1) DID Numbers (2) DID Trunks (3) DOD Trunks (4) and other features for business lines. The period of performance shall be five years from the date of contract award. The primary place of performance will be Sioux City, IA. This acquisition is conducted under the Air Force's regulatory delegation of GSA's exclusive procurement authority for Federal Information Processing (FIP) resources. This sole source acquisition is justified under 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c) (1). The Government intends to issue a Communication Service Authorization (CSA) written against the basic agreement DCA200-96-H-0066. Note 22.
