- Description
- The Fleet and Industrial Supply Center Puget Sound has a requirement for maintenance of the following base telephone equipment located at Naval Station Everett, Everett WW and its detachments: Naval Station Everett-Main Switch (Meridian 1, Opt 81), Network Management System, Meridian Voice Mail, Modem Pools, Operator Consoles, and Conference Bridges; Marysville, WA- Meridian 1, Opt 51; and Arlington, WA (Jim Creek)- Remote Intelligent Peripheral Equipment (IPE) Shelf. The contractor shall be responsible for maintenance of all items connected to the systems such as the battery and rectifier systems, proprietary digital telephone sets and fiber optic and copper cable plant. The contract shall also include labor and material for installation and repair of copper and fiber optic cables, splicing and cable location at Naval Station Everett, WA; Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Whidbey Island, WA; Naval Magazine Facility, Port Hadlock, WA; and Naval Submarine Base, Bangor, Silverdale WA. The requirement will be for a base year with two one-year options. The Government intends to negotiate this requirement as a Hub-zone sole source to Accurate Cabling Inc. P.O. Box 2221, Mt. Vernon, WA 98273. Accurate Cabling is the incumbent contractor and is certified as a Hub-Zone contractor by the Small Business Administration. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
