Description

The Counterintelligence Field Activity (CIFA) intends to award a sole source fixed price Purchase Order using Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, to CQ.com under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) or 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. The purpose of this procurement is provide CIFA Legislative Affairs daily/real-time automated legislative information (on-line subscription) to the legislative points of contact within the activity. The characteristics that makes CQ services the only source that will meet the demands of the agency are: CQ has access to both authorization and appropriation bills, reports, markups, etc; CQ transcribes nearly twice as many hearings; CQ covers any hearing upon subscription user request; CQ offers extensive archives of legislative information to include bills, committee reports and transcripts; CQ provides unlimited customer training at the users workplace at no additional cost. CQ is the only company that provides all the applications in the detail required to support CIFA???s mission. NO SOLICITATION OR REQUEST FOR QUOTE IS AVAILABLE. Notwithstanding, any firm who believe it is capable of meeting the requirement as stated herein may submit a response, which if received within 5 calendar days of the date of this announcement will be considered. Responses to this posting must be in writing. A determination not to compete the proposed purchase order based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
