Description
The National Institutes of Health intends to negotiate and award a sole source purchase order utilizing simplified acquisition procedures (FAR part 13) to Werres Corporation to provide maintenance services cited in the SOW. The purpose of this announcement is for information purposes only and is not an invitation to submit competitive quotations. No solicitation will be issued. The period of performance is from date of award for a twelve (12) month period. Statement of Work MAINTENANCE ON MATERIAL HANDLING EQUIPMENT FORKLIFT EQUIPMENT Forklift Equipment: (3) 24 Volt Reach Truck, 3000# capacity, model ET-R40TT (1) ET-R30TT Reach Truck 3000 lb capacity 24V (9) 24 Volt Walkie/Rider pallet trucks, 6000# capacity, model 1120TM-FRE60 (5) 261 Order Picker 3000 lb capacity wire guided 24V (5) RTW Dock Truck 3000 lb capacity (3) SA-Swing-Reach Truck (3) 36V Golf Cart (1) 48V Golf Cart 26 Units in all Contractor will provide the following services on a bi-weekly basis: Check all external and internal electronic components and tighten terminals as necessary and blow out dust accumulation from electronic compartment with forced air equipment (compressor or equivalent) and clean with electrical solution. Blow out dust accumulation from beneath each unit with forced air equipment (compressor or equivalent). Check hydraulic apparatuses (hoses, pistons, pumps etc.) for leakage. Replace hoses, couplings connectors and replenish reservoir with hydraulic fluid as necessary. Check all Motors and Drive Train (drive, pump etc.) for proper working condition. Lubricate all moving parts and tighten as necessary (bearings, chains, steering column, drive train gears, axel, forks etc.). Check all mechanical parts (load wheels, drive wheel, rollers on forks etc.) for proper working condition. Check each unit that operates on wire guided system (swing Reaches & Order Pickers) for proper working condition. Make minor adjustments as necessary to control system. Check driving operation for proper working condition by physically going through all start and stop procedures, making sure that unit is in proper working condition. This includes ?wire Guided Units?. _Make sure that Wire Guided Units, go on and off line properly. Contractor will provide the following services on a bi-monthly basis or every two months on Batteries: . Check water level of al l Batteries and replenish as necessary. Check all electrical components for proper working condition, tighten terminals as necessary. Clean any and all acid buildup on Battery and in compartment, including rollers. .Check voltage and amperage for proper out put at battery connector. Contractor will provide the following services once every six months or twice a year on Charges: (26 units in all) .Check all electrical components for proper working conditions tighten terminals as necessary. Blow out dust accumulation from electronic compartment with forced air equipment (compressor or equivalent and clean with electrical cleaning solution. . Check voltage and amperage for proper output at battery connector.Note: any repairs beyond normal maintenance schedule (the aforementioned preventive maintenance packaged) such as damages or replacement of major components that would be of significant cost, will require prior approval of COTA. Contractor will not be compensated for work performed that is not included in this statement of work or approved of by COTR. Contractor will indicate the equipment model, make and serial numbers of equipment serviced on paperwork/billing submitted to COTR for verification purposes. This information must be included on any billing and service work documents submitted by the contractor. EMERGENCY REPAIRS: Contractor will respond to a service csll repair within wr hours or one business day. COTR must be notified immediately of any delay in response time or if repairs are delayed due to availability of parts, etc. after initial evaluation
