Description

The 96th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract extension for continuation of the contractor operation of an on-base parts store (COPARS) in support of the 96th Logistics Readiness Squadron at Eglin AFB, FL. This is a follow-on action and the period of performance will be 1 January 06 through 31 March 06 for a total performance period of 3 months. The award is to NAPA Supply of Grand Forks, Inc, PO Box 666, Crookston MN 56716, contract F08651-01-D0003. Services under this contract consist of providing motor vehicle and miscellaneous equipment parts to maintain a Government fleet of approximately 1400 vehicles that range in diversity from sedans to heavy construction vehicles. Statutory authority for this sole source extension is Title 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. This notice is for informational purposes only; therefore no formal solicitation will result from this announcement.
