Description

DESC: NSN: 5315-01-529-9819, Part Number: 13011486. The item to procure is a M197, Pin, Spring, for M197 Machine Gun Mount. Two parts make up end item, Pin and Ring Retaining 12956283-2. Pin is manufactured from stainless steel per CMPSN 416 ASTM A 582. Finish is 3.3.4 per Note 3 of drwg. Solicitation will result in a contract with a 100% Option. For use on the M197 Machine Gun Mount. Estimated issue date is 15 Dec 2005. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.50 2 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the internet: https://aais.ria.army.mil/aais/SOLINFO/index.htm. Upon request, a 3D Technical Data Package (TDP) will be available for information purposes only. The 2D drawings are the required build to print drawings. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Gove rnment is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal non-responsive and result in the rejection of same. Proposed contract is 100% small business set-asid e. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY06 requirement. Numbered Notes 1 and 26 apply.
