Secondary POC: Anne Ditch 904-542-0472/anne.ditch@navy.mil SOW BELOW: AS-39 Port and Starboard Scullery Overhauls Statement of work PORT AND STARBORD SCULLERY UNITS: 1. Provide and replace the follow list of components for each unit- 4ea. Manifold o-rings-Missing 14ea. Manifold end caps-Deteriorated 2ea. Temp regulators-Deteriorated 2ea. Suction strainers-Damaged 2ea. Drain assemblies.-Damaged/leaking/Deteriorated 1 lot Flex Conduit, w/fittings-Damaged 2ea. Thermometer guards-Missing 1ea. Curtain rod/Center-Missing PORT SCULLERY UNIT- 2. Provide and replace the follow list of components for this unit- 1ea. Wash tank door-Damaged 3ea. Siphon breakers-Damaged/leaks 1ea. Relief valve-Leakage STARBOARD SCULLERY UNIT- 3. Provide and replace the follow list of components for this unit- 2ea. Siphon breaker rebuild kits-Leaks 2ea. Doors-Damaged/bent 2ea. Door hold open devices-Damaged 1set Split tank Gasket-Leaking 1ea. Final rinse booster heater-OOC 1ea. Center tank baffle-Missing 1ea. Level protector-Missing Notes: 1. Ships Force (S/F) responsible for any & all hot work chits & firewatches. 2. S/F to provide argon bottle for tig welding. 3. CTR will schedule this job at the beginning of Dec., 2005 to have completion at time of steam bring up to allow for Op Tests. 4. CTR will not schedule flights until ALL material is on site & on board AS-39. 5. All pricing to include all flights, per diem, hotels, etc. Remove all three deep sinks, entire dresser, related piping & accessories for S/F to dispose of. Provide & install 3ea. Deep sinks. One to have provisions for Hatco sink heater (LH sink). One to have provisions for grinder (RH sink). One to be a rinse sink only (center sink). Sinks to be 22? wide X 28? front to rear X 12? deep. Responsible for additional deep sink water piping and drain lines. Provide & install 1ea. Hatco sink heater. Hatco heater can use the existing breaker that it is currently on. Run new cable to the junction box as necessary, install, and wire. Provide & install one each grinder & controller. Power source will be from power panel in 1-45-2 (spare 1-45-3)-4P-E 30 amps. Run two cables to the junction box as necessary, install and wire. Emory S. Land (ESL) to supply correct breakers. Provide & install new sink thermometers, one for each sink, bulk head mounted. Provide & install new sink drain assemblies. Provide & install new faucet assemblies for each sink. Grinder sink to have sprayer only. Provide & install new aluminum frame work to support all new dresser & sinks. Provide & install additional necessary dresser top to complete install. Provide & install new lower aluminum flooring in all cabinet locations. Provide & install new shelving (One per location that will accommodate a shelf) Provide & install doors at all locations (except at pot & pan location) to cover open areas under dresser with 3 point locks. Provide all new bulkhead CRES covering on LH, RH & rear bulkheads behind ovens over new dresser area. Provide & install new placards in way of ones removed during bulkhead covering replacement. Provide hot water from 1 inch line from deck below or from the existing ? inch line in the galley. We will connect to existing ?? line. Install 6-8 feet of CRES ventilation ducting downstream of unit hood. ESL will cut in on the ships existing steam supply line that runs outside the galley stbd serving line in the overhead. Shipyard personnel have taken on the job to install a two valve isolation branch from that supply line so future isolation to the washer will not interfere with the steam system onboard. ESL will cut into the ships existing condensate return line, which runs from the forward galley thru the bulkhead to the aft bulkhead on the mess decks. CRT will cut into ships existing exhaust ventilation. This cut-in will be directly above the galley ovens. Specifications for the washer is 300 FPM the existing exhaust system will be able to support since the ovens require at least 1000 FPM. Ships Force (S/F) to provide Argon bottle for tig welding. S/F to provide rigging. S/F responsible for any & all hot work chits & firewatches. S/F to provide oxygen/acetylene bottles.
