- Description
- The Air Force desires to acquire through full and open competition, in support of the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA), the maintenance and repair of refrigeration and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in military commissaries at approximately thirty-one (31) stores in the states of Maine, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Connecticut, New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, Delaware, District of Columbus, and Virginia. The commissaries include: GROUP I consists of: Aberdeen PG, MD; Andrews AFB, MD; Annapolis NS, MD; Fort Belvoir, VA; Bolling AFB, DC; Dahlgren NSWC, VA; Fort Detrick, MD; Dover AFB, DE; Fort Meade, MD; Fort Myer, VA; Patuxent River NAS, MD; Quantico MCCDC, VA, and Walter Reed AMC NY. GROUP II consists of: Ardec-Picatiny Arsenal, NJ; Carlisle Barracks, PA; C.E. Kelly, PA; Fort Hamilton, NY; Fort Monmouth, NJ; Lakehurst NAEC, NJ; McGuire AFB, NJ; Mitchel Field, NY; Tobyhanna AD, PA; AND West Point USMA, NY. GROUP III consists of: Bangor ANGB, ME; Brunswick NAS, ME; Fort Drum, NY; Hanscom AFB, MA; New London NSB, CT; Newport NSB, RI; Portsmouth NS, NH; and Scotia NAU, NY. The groups will not be split; therefore, you must propose on all commissaries within each group. These commissaries are located in the Eastern Region of the Defense Commissary Agency (DeCA). The contractor shall provide all personnel, supervision, materials and equipment, and transportation necessary to perform monthly maintenance, 24/7 availability, provide emergency response service within two (2) hours of notification and repaired within 24 hours in all commissaries with the group. Commissary must remain open and operational during business hours throughout the period of performance. Must meet all local, state, and federal EPA requirements. Experience required in commercial supermarket refrigeration/HVAC systems. The estimated period of performance will be 1 October 2005 with four (4) priced one-year options not to exceed 66 months.
