- Description
- The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, supervision, tools, equipment incidentals necessary to perform road maintenance activities on USDA Forest Service roads. Two separate road maintenance contracts may be awarded, one for the East Side and another for the West Side of the Shawnee National Forest. Work activities will include, but not be limited to, blading aggregate surfaced roads, hauling and spreading of aggregate as needed, and mowing/mechanized brushing of roads. Other maintenance activities will be performed as required (i.e. culvert replacement/repair, drainage ditch construction, debris clearing from bridges, etc.). The contract period will consist of the Base Year and two Option Years. The technical contact for this project is Cynthia Morris (618) 253-7114, Extension 229.
