Description

THIS IS A SOLE SOURCE SYNOPSISThe 45th Contracting Squadron has a sole source requirement for maintenance of an Intrusion Detection System at AFTAC. Maintenance personnel must be ADT certified in the repair and maintenance of Intrusion Detection Systems. The Base period of performance is 01 January 2006 to 30 September 2006. Four one-year options may also be awarded. This is a Sole Source with ADT Security Services Incorporated IAW FAR 6.302-1. ADT Security Services Incorporated is the only source capable of fulfilling the government?s requirement. ADT Security Service Incorporated has proprietary rights to this system. ADT is the only certified vendor identified by the Underwriters Laboratories Automotive Burglary protection and Mechanical Equipment Directory, Section APOU, pp102-104. Interruption of system maintenance would damage the national security at SCI level in the region from Orlando south to the Florida Keys. No solicitation documents exists at this time. This item/service utilizes Standard Industrial Code (SIC) 7382 with a business size of $10.5 M and North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code of 561621. Interested firms may identify their capability to respond to this requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, the government will consider any responses from capable sources received within 10 days after date of publication of this synopsis. 45 CONS/LGCB has determined that ADT Security Service Incorporated is the only source capable of providing this requirement.
