Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This requirement is for an ID-IQ type contract for repair of the Shipping Container for the AGT 1500 Gas Turbine Engine NSN: 8145-01-122-6574 and Army P/N 12302100 for one base year with 2 one-year options. There is an estimated maximum qty of 100 ea. 1st contract year; 150 ea. 2nd option year; 200 ea. 3rd option year with a minimum qty of 20 ea. per year. Award will be based on Best Value. The Best Value is the most advantageous offe r, price and other factors considered, and consistent with the Governments stated importance of evaluation criteria as outlined in the Statement of Work. This may result in award being made to a higher-rated, higher priced offeror where the Contracting Of ficer determines that an offerors past performance and technical qualifications of the higher priced offeror outweigh the cost difference. Evaluation factors of Past Performance and Technical considerations (including delivery schedule) when combined are a pproximately equal to cost or price. See Statement of Work for evaluation criteria. In order to receive an award for this contract, you must register in the Central Contractor Registration. You may register at WWW.CCR.GOV. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. Solicitation W912JC-06-R-400 2 is issued as an RFP. This is a solicitation document and incorporates provisions in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-06. NAICS code is 811310. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications (3/2005) applies t o this acquisition. A completed-signed copy of this provision shall be submitted with any proposal.
