Description

The Department of Justice (DOJ) intendes to issue a sole source purchase order to purchase a membership with TTI/Vanguard that will allow the DOJ to send senior level DOJ executives to five TTI/Vanguard conference. Additionally, DOJ employees will have access to the TTI/Vanguard members' website which offers audio slides from the conferences. TTI/Vanguard serves a small membership community of about 55 member organizations with Information Technology as its singular area of concentration. The membership will provide DOJ access to early and advanced information about emerging and breakthrough technologies on the 2-5 year horizon and explore a broad range of technologies from a non-commerical, objective perspective. Member organizations represent a broad cross-section of industries and the public sector and are senior business and technology executives with responsiblity for creating and implementing strategic technological change within their organizations. Members engage in collaborative sessions where paradigms are questioned, theories are tested, and opinions are shaped. This is not a request for prosposal nor will a solicitation be issued. It is within the discretion of the DOJ to compete this requirement if a determination is made that other companies can meet this requirement.
