Description

This announcement is not a request for proposals and there is no solicitation available. The Bureau of Reclamation- Snake River Area Office- East, Burley, Idaho, per the authority of FAR 6.001(a) and using FAR Parts 13 procedures, intends to negotiate a non-competitive contract with the State Of Idaho, Water District 1, 900 N. Skyline Dr. Suite A, Idaho Falls, ID 83402-1718, to provide stream gauging services on the upper Snake River. Stream gauging services are required by Reclamation to operate dams and reservoirs to fulfill authorized purposes and to implement space holder contracts. Similarly, Idaho, Water District 1 (District) requires much of the same data to administer water rights and accomplish water rights accounting. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541690. This acquisition provides funding for the operation of 7 stream gages in the upper Snake River. Approximately 30 stream gages are operated on the Snake River. The gages not included in this acquisition are operated by interagency agreement between Reclamation and USGS or through cooperation of the District with USGS. Although this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals, questions or inquiries may be sent to arenken@pn.usbr.gov. No telephone inquiries will be accepted.
