Description

Red River Army Depot intends to issue a solicitation, Request For Quote (RFQ) resulting in a Requirements type contract. Award will be made to the overall lowest bidder (one bidder) offering the best value to the government. The contract period will be 12 months after contract award with 2 Option Years. Items required are: Flux, Linde PN:350; estimated quantity is 58,600 lbs. Flux may not be substituted. Welding Wire L-60 or Equal (1,000 lbs Speed Drum), estimated quantity is 40,500 pounds. Must meet MIL-E-18193 Type MIL-A1. Welding Wire Stoody PN: 107 or Equal (500 lbs Drum), estimated quantity is 28,000 lbs. Must must meet MIL-E-24403 or AWS A5.20 or A5.23. Samples of items are required for First Article Testing (FAT) prior to award unless a waiver is approved. The RFQ will be available on or about December 22, 2005.
