Description

The 89th Contracting Squadron, Andrews Air Force Base intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Pace Communications, 1301 Carolina Street, Greensboro NC. 27401, for the purchase of In-flight audio and visual entertainment packages for the 89th Operations Group aircraft. The resulting contract will be a firm fixed price service contract. Negotiation being conducted using other than full and open competition procedures pursuant to authority of FAR 6.302-1(b)(1). The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, the Government will consider all proposals received by Thursday, 15 December 05 at 3:00pm EST. The Government will not be responsible for any cost incurred in preparation of request for quotation. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. All responsible sources may submit a proposal, which will be considered by the agency. Contractors submitting any proposal to the Government must have a Commercial and Government Entity Code (CAGE Code) and be registered in the Central Contractors Registration (CCR) at http://www.ccr.gov/. The 89th Contracting Squadron intends to award a sole source contract five (5) business days after publication of this notice. Contracting POC is Omari A.
