Description

The U.S Fish and Wildlife Service (FWS) intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for the Construction of Equipment Storage Building located at Bull Island, Cape Romain National Wildlife Refuge, Awendaw, SC. Work includes but is not limited to; supplying all materials, tools, supplies, labor, ground and barge transportation and equipment necessary to construct a 30'X96' wood framed, three sided equipment storage building with one open bay/3 bays on slab on pre-graded site; to include, electrical, mechanical and concrete work. The NAICS code is 236210. The size standard is $28.5 million. The estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. The tentative IFB issue date is on or about 01/17/06, with a 30 day closing. A firm-fixed price contract will be issued, with a performance period of 90 days from the Notice to Proceed. The anticipated award date is on or about 02/24/06 The IFB documents will be available electronically on the Federal Business Opportunities Web Site at HTTP://FEDBIZOPPS.GOV under IFB number 401815B028. Paper copies WILL NOT be available. Once the solicitation is posted, it is incumbent upon the interested parties to review this site for any updates/amendments.
