- The Bureau of Engraving and Printing has a requirement to provide both the Washington, D.C. facility and the Ft. Worth, Texas facility non-heatset sheet-fed intaglio green and black cylinder wipe inks and varnish in accordance with Specification No. I:ICWC-1D dated November 19, 2005. The Government anticipates a fixed price, indefinite-delivery, indefinite quahtity (IDIQ) type contract will result from this solicitation. The period of performance will be one base period of 12 months, and four option periods of 12 months each. The estimated quantities are as follows: Base Year: 5,832,000 lbs; Option Yr. 1: 3,700,000; Option Yr. 2: 4,700,000; Option Yr. 3: 4,800,000; and Option Yr. 4: 4,840,000. The Government has allowed for split awards by facility if determined to be economically feasible. The NAICS code for this requirement is 325910. The solicitation and its attachments will be published at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about December 14, 2005. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be mailed.
