Description

1. Statement of Work: Request provide services of TMS, a qualified Qualified Marine Boiler Control contractor, who has successfully completed recently, the Boiler combustion/ throttle control on board the USNS Mercy, to provide labor and material to repair/replacement following items a) Replace/repair nine (9) receiver type gauges in console with electronic bargraph/digital displays. b) To integrate existing temperature monitor into Cimplicity Trending system, c) To replace existing trend computer/monitor in engine room with Industrial Flat Panel touch screen and printer capable of printing and logging all the pressures and temps etc., d) Relocate existing computer and monitor ( removed above) in Engineering Office, e) To incorporate Henschel sewage alarm panel into engineer?s alarm system, f) To renew throttle handwheel limit switches, g) To replace hot well inoperative level sensor with capcitive probe. The job need to be completed before January 13, 2006. 2. Vessel Availability: Contractor must always keep in mind that USNS Mercy is a Hospital Ship and must be able to sail away to action within five (5) days when so ordered by Navy. 3. Vessel Location: 32nd St. Naval Station, Pier #1, San Diego, California.
