Description

Contractor shall provide temporary full time registered nurses on an as needed basis. The nurses will be utilized in specialty units such as the MICU, SICU, Telemetry, Surgical Operating Room units, etc. at the Philadelphia VA Medical Center. The VA anticipates multiple awards from this solicitation; the Philadelphia VA Medical Center will not pay for any orientation, parking, mileage, hotel or relocation fees. All Nurses assigned by the Contractors to perform the services shall be licensed in a State, Territory or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia. The award of this solicitation is subject to the availability of funding. The NACIS (North American Industry Classification System) code is 621399. The contract period shall be for one year (base year) with two (2) one year option years. The Solicitation packages and any addendum can be downloaded from the system directly. This solicitation is being done utilizing the Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with FAR part 12.203. The bid opening date will be January 20, 2006. All bid packages must be received prior to 2:00pm. Fax or bids sent via e-mail WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
