Description

Lawn Care Services needed at Kanopolis Lake at the Kanopolis Lake Project Office, Marquette, Kansas. This solicitation contains a base period plus four option year. This acquisition is for commercial items or services. The contractor shall furnish all personnel, equipment, labor and supplies necessary to provide Lawn Care Services at the Kanopolis Lake Project Office, Marquette, Kansas. This solicitation contains a base period plus four option periods. The base year period of performance runs from: FY06, FY07, FY08, FY09, FY10 AA Venango Area 1 April through 31July AB Venango Area 1 August through 30 September AC Maintenance Building 1 April through 31 Jul AD Maintenance Building 1 August through 30 September AE Information Center 1 April through 30 September AF Regulatory Office 1 April through 31 July AG Regulatory Office 1 August through 30 September AH Riverside Park 1 April through 30 September The government will award a contract from this request for quotes to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the government, price, experience and past performance considered. For evaluation purposes price, experience and past performance will all be weighted the same. The standard industrial code is 0782. The NAICS code is 561730. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered by this agency. The Solicitation package shall be av ailable on or about December 15, 2005. The solicitation will be posted on the Kansas City District website at www.nwk.usace.army.mil. Questions of a technical nature may be addressed to Steven Whetzel at 785-546-2294. OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS: Prior to quoting, vendors must complete online the Representations and Certifications. To do so requires CCR Registration, including an MPIN number. In structions may be obtained, and required information may be entered, at http://orca.bpn.gov. One must register on the Kansas City District web site in order to receive any quotations. By visiting the following web site, you may download the solicitation. The web address is http://www.nwk.usace.army.mil/contract/contract.html. Bids are due January 19, 2006 no later than 3:00 pm (central standard time). REQUIRED CCR REGISTRATION: Prior to quoting, vendors must be actively registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR) system, including creation of an MPIN number. Registration instructions may be obtained, and online registration may be accomplished , at www.ccr.gov. By submission of a quote, a quoter acknowledges the requirement to be registered in the CCR database prior to award; during performance; and through final payment of any contract resulting from the solicitation. Refer to CCR clause (eithe r 252.204-7004 or 52.204-7) Also, Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requires offerors to provide representations and certifications electronically via the BPN website at https:/www.bpn.gov/ocra/vendor as a prerequisite to receiving solicitation, to update the representations and c ertifications as necessary, but a least annually, to keep them current, accurate and complete, and to make changes that affect only one solicitation by completing the appropriate sections of either paragraph (j) of FAR provision 52.212-3 or FAR provision 5 2.204-8, whichever is included in the solicitation.
