Description

The Department of Navy intends to issue an Invitation for Bids (IFB) under Solicitation N62472-05-B-9308 for Removal And Disposal Of Hazardous Waste And Waste Liquid From Any US Military Ship, US Coast Guard Ship, Visiting Ships, Underground Storage Tank (UST), Aboveground Storage Tank (AST) Drums and/or Tanker Truck at Various locations for the Naval Complex, Newport, RI. This contract will be a total Indefinite Quantity Type contract. Award will be made to the lowest priced responsive and responsible bidder. This solicitation contains a Base Period and Four (4) One-Year Options to be executed by the Government if found to be in its best interest. This solicitation will be Unrestricted under the NAICS Code of 562112, Hazardous Waste Collection Services and has a Small Business Standard of $10.5 million. Prospective bidders must register for this project on the NAVFAC Electronic Solicitation Internet web site: www.esol.navfac.navy.mil., to receive notification of availability of solicitations. Acceptance of Government Purchase Credit Cards is required along with the purchase of DoD EMALL Encrypted Software. The ?Issue Date? and ?Quote/Due Date? stated in this notice are approximate dates. An official Bidder?s Mailing List will be maintained on-line and can be printed from the web site. The Bidder?s List will not be faxed. Recording companies Notification of any changes to this solicitation (Amendments) shall be made only on the ESOL Website. It is therefore the Contractor?s responsibility to check the above listed address daily for any posted changes to solicitation?s plans and specifications. Per the Debt Collection Improvement Act of 1996, the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation supplement (DFAR) has been amended to require all contractors to register in the Department of Defense (DoD) Central Contractors Registration (CCR) Database. Be advised, for solicitations issued after May 31, 1998, failure to register in the CCR may render an offeror ineligible for award of DoD contracts. Information regarding this registration may be obtained by accessing web site: www.ccr2000.com or be referring to DFAR Subpart 204.73. Offerors should submit verification of their firm?s registration in the CCR Database with their bid.
