Description: The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure Wax Fisher-Tropsch Dispersion CC5029 for Cylinder Wipe Intaglio Currency in accordance with BEP Specification W; FT-IB Dated June 5, 1995 from Noveon (formerly known as Carroll Scientific Inc.). This procurement action is for supplies in which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302 and 13.106-1. See number note 22. The resulting purchase order will not exceed the simplified acquisition threshold. The procedures set forth in FAR Part 13.106-3 shall be used.
