Description

Arnold AFB, TN has a requirement to install lightning protection to include all materials, equipment, and labor for the addition of a catenary lightning protection system. The work includes providing and installing six steel masts, catenary wires, and ground rods. Trench and install new building counterpoise system, connecting to existing counterpoise. Restore trenched areas to previous conditions. Provide a concrete foundation design for the steel masts. Make ground resistance and bonding continuity tests, and install concrete bollards around masts. Install covers on existing exterior cable tray, and ground and bond existing cable tray stanchions to the lightning protection system. The period of performance is 90 calendar days for contract completion following Notice to Proceed. The estimated order of magnitude is $25,000 to $100,000.
