- THIS NOTICE CONSTITUTES AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO THE COMBINED SYNOPSIS/RFQ FOR NEWS CLIPPING SERVICE. Companies shall acknowledge all amendment(s) in their quote. This notice serves as the official amendment to subject synopsis/RFQ and a written amendment will not be issued. The purpose of this amendment is to ANSWER QUESTIONS SUBMITTED. Question 1 - What other news topics other than those listed in the SOW should be included in the daily search? Answer 1 - TTHE STATEMENT OF WORK ACCURATELY SUMMARIZES THE REQUIREMENTS. Question 2 - What is the maximum size of document file that is acceptable to both NASA and your receiving server? Answer 2 - THERE IS NO LIMIT, PER SE. HOWEVER, THE DOCUMENT SHOULD BE ABLE TO PASS THROUGH TYPICAL POP EMAIL SERVERS, WHICH USUALLY HAVE A LIMIT OF BETWEEN 4MB TO 6MB. A TYPICAL CLIPS PACKAGE AVERAGES 450KB AND IS DELIVERED IN BOTH WORD AND .PDF FORMATS. Question 3 - Which major newspapers are to be considered and which major networks? Answer 3 - ALL NEWSPAPERS AND BROADCASTERS IN THE TOP 100 MARKETS. Question 4 - Are links acceptable for all sound and video clips in daily news items? Answer 4 - NO! A TEXT SUMMARY OF THE EDITORIAL CONTENT IS REQUIRED. Question 5 - Regarding Congressional hearings, does that include both House and Senate schedules as well as committee schedules and also special hearing sessions. Answer 5 - YES! The due date for receipt of offers is not extended. Companies shall provide the information stated in the synopsis/RFQ posted on the NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS) on DECEMBER 20, 2005. Documents related to this procurement are available over the Internet. These documents reside on a World Wide Web (WWW) server which may be accessed using a WWW browser application.
