PRON: AX6C9703AX, NSN: 5340-01-222-1090, PN: 13083323, QUANTITY: 10 each, applicable to the EO AUGMENTATION SYSTEM, with deliveries to Orlando, FL 32819-0000. This item is restricted to Lockheed Martin Corporation, Cage Code 04939, because this pa rt requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the p art from the approved source(s). Production Lead-time is 10 each, due 212 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in o rder to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR (Comprehensive Automated Process for Source Approval Request) and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requiremen ts. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award.
