Description

The National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Physical and Chemical Properties Division (PCPD) of the Chemical Science and Technology Laboratory has a requirement of mass spectra assessment services. The specific tasks are described in the specifications included in the Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ, SB1341-06-Q-0113, is being issued utilizing FAR Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which will be considered by NIST. A detailed Performance Work Statement (PWS) will be available in the solicitation package. The period of performance will be twelve months from the date of contract award. The standard classification NAICS code is 541990. The competitive solicitation, solicitation amendments and all questions and answers relating to this procurement shall be made available via the Internet at http://www.fedbizopps.gov. The solicitation is anticipated for release to the vendor community on or about January 16, 2006 and will only be available on FEDBIZOPPs at the above website. Potential offerors are responsible for accessing the website. Interested parties must respond to the solicitation in order to be considered for award of any resultant contract. There is no written solicitation document available, telephone requests will not be honored and no bidder lists will be maintained. To be eligible for award, offerors must be registered with the Central Contractor Registration (CCR): www.ccr.gov.
