- This is a modification to the synopsis entitled SUBSCRIPTION SERVICES which was posted on 12/29/2005. You are notified that the following changes are made: QUESTIONS ARE POSTED AND ANSWERED: The due date for responses IS 1/6/2006. 1. Elsevier/Science Direct Package do not permit us to negotiate the pricing direct, are you able to supply thier quotation or 2005 pricing? We do not have that information currently. 2. If we are albe to match the Delivery Format in column F do you still require the default formats to be completed if they are available The columns for the default formats are G, H, and I. If the desired format described in Delivery Format (Column F) is matched no further information on formats is necessary. However, additional information, especially if it shows dramatic price differences among formats, may assist the Government in selecting best value. 3. If the start dates in Column B are not January 2006, are you requesting that we prorate the prices or should we seek to price for a one year sub scription? In some cases the Publisher will require that we place orders on a calendar year basis. The Government understands the constraints of the serials marketplace. Start dates provided are based on the most current information available. All title start dates shall be validated ultimately by the awarded vendor. When the Government reviews the line item quotations supplied by bidders, 12-month subscription periods will be assumed unless otherwise noted by the bidders. Offerors are responsible for monitoring this site for the release of the solicitation and any amendments. Potential offerors are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments (if any). [INSERT ANY APPLICABLE NOTES]
