This amendment changes UNIT from "cubic yard" to "ton." The conversion factor is provided in the summary of changes. The pricing structure for use in proposal submission is revised to show ton quantities. Update to Announcement: Three attachments are added to the solicitation announcement: 1. End of Notice (14 Dec 05)____________ RFP ISSUANCE for SOLICITATION FA8601-06-R-0019 (8 December 2005) - A Request for Proposal (RFP) along with attachments is posted at www.fbo.gov. All interested offerors must download documents from this website. No hard copies will be available. This is a competitive acquisition for all labor, tools, equipment, materials, vehicles, administration, and testing for the transport and disposal of coal ash daily from two facilities at Wright-Patterson AFB OH. An indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract for one base period and four one-year options is anticipated. Multiple awards may be made. This acquisition has been revised to compete as FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION. All potential sources capable of providing these services may submit a proposal. (Note: This acquisition was formerly posted as a 100% Small Business Set Aside under solicitation number FA8601-05-R-0030). DUE DATE FOR PROPOSALS IS 2:00 P.M. (EST) ON 3 JANUARY 2006. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD ON WEDNESDAY, 14 DECEMBER 2005, at 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. (EST) for the purpose of visiting two facilities. Potential sources planning to attend the site visit must provide information to the Government point of contact identified in the solicitation not later than Tuesday, 13 December 2005, 12:00 Noon (EST).
